Meet Law Roach
Law Roach has never treated fashion as just access to couture.
Before the front rows, custom gowns, and red carpet dominance, there was his eye. The archival fashion is amazing but it is not what gives his work with Zendaya so much weight. What makes Law different? The clothes are not chosen simply because they are rare or expensive. They are chosen because they say something.
Law’s title of “image architect” fits.
In a 2024 interview with British Vogue, "We Don't Borrow – We Buy: Law Roach Talks Crafting Zendaya's Immaculate Dune: Part Two Press Tour Looks” Law told Vogue that he and Zendaya adopted “method dressing,” with looks that served as an extension of the film’s wardrobe.
That is the difference. The fashion does not sit beside the movie. It pulls the audience toward it.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight at The Odyssey London premiere Zendaya said:
That is why this partnership works. Zendaya and Law understand that a press tour is not just promotion. It is world-building.
Every look becomes an extension of the movie and a part of the conversation before the film even begins.
Law has dressed Zendaya since 2011 and more than a decade later the creative shorthand she describes is clearly visible.
Law has helped redefine what celebrity styling can be.
He isn't simply dressing for an occasion. He's building visual narratives around it. In doing so, he's helping reignite the art of intentional dressing.
